We are a charitable organisation that offers services across Brighton, Hove, and East Sussex.

As a board of trustees’ member, your responsibility is to establish the charity's strategic direction, which will be carried out by the chief executive and senior management team. The board collectively ensures governance compliance, including adherence to our governing document (Articles of Association).

To excel in this role, you must exhibit dedication to the charity's vision, mission, and values. The typical time commitment for a trustee is one day per month, involving five full board meetings annually (including the AGM), currently conducted via MS Teams.

In the initial months, additional time will be needed to meet with fellow trustees, senior management, and carer support workers. The trustee position is voluntary and does not offer remuneration, but reasonable expenses will be covered.

We embrace diversity in all our recruitment processes and encourage applications from all community sectors.
